“Transracial Adoption 101”, presented by diversity consultant and adoption attorney Michelle M. Hughes, J.D., provides a comprehensive introduction to transracial adoption, allowing you to prepare for the joys and realities of adopting across racial lines. The course was designed to meet the Hague Convention training requirements for “information the long-term implications for a family that has become multicultural through intercountry adoption” (Section 96.48 (b) (7)). “Transracial Adoption 101” will take approximately two hours to complete, including a recorded webinar of approximately 90 minutes in length, two self-paced exercises, and a self-evaluation (quiz) required to receive credit for the course.
